Event Description: Kirtan is a form of devotional chanting that originates in India. In a call and response format, we sing and chant a variety of sacred names and mantras from eastern traditions. Kirtan is a way to connect with the Divine personally or with a group. The experience is different for everyone; one may experience an uplifting of mood or emotion, a connection to the Oneness of creation or a deep sense of peacefullness or grounding. This class is lead by Sarah Pederson, LMT, RYT and Josh Polich, Musician. Cost is $12 or Yoga Center Class Pass accepted.
