Home Made, Long Island Kirtan! The band is currently composed of two drummers, Jeff Webb, duombek and Tem Noon tabla, and Sita Dasi singing and also on harmonium. The spirit of Neem Karoli Baba drew us in, spending time with Krishna Das at his many retreats and kirtans, and getting to many other teachers such as Amma, teachers from Nepal, Tibet and local kirtanists, spending time at ashrams, and with our everyday life as our guide, we have gone through many beneficial changes after listening to years of kirtan and music from India.. we all have a heavy western influence in rock and roll, and we now bring you the sacred names from India, those that when repeated, have amazing benefits, are powerful and a very serious yet simple practice. Jeff Webb has a strong background in Middle eastern percussion.
