For almost two decades, Russill Paul has lived and taught in North America, introducing yogis and spiritual seekers to the vast scope of sacred sound in yoga practice. He is the author of The Yoga of Sound: Tapping the Hidden Power of Chant and Music (New World Library) and the producer of numerous chant CDs published by The Relaxation Company, NY. In the last few years, he has come to realize the power of kirtan, its capacity to move people deeply, build spiritual community, and celebrate the yogic spirit. In the awareness of this widespread phenomenon, he is now offering kirtan concerts as part of his workshops and seminars across the country, and is presently working on a kirtan album.
