Keshavacharya das is one of the grandchildren of the spiritual revolution of the sixties. For the past fifteen years he has lived as a monk in the Bhakti tradition in different ashrams around the world. Born on a farm in the beautiful mountains of Switzerland, he enjoyed a simple, natural childhood. His first contact with music was playing Saxophone in a brass band at the age of 14. Later he became influenced by the music of the 70..s. Music became his life but more in hearing then playing. When he was 25 he had a complete turn in life, due to his contact with the wisdom of ancient India..s Bhakti culture. With the desire to change his life he decided to live in an ashram for one year. Inspired by the devotional life he learned there, he never turned back. Through the daily practice of chanting and kirtan in that environment he refined his talent for singing more and more. For the next twelve years his focus was on cultivating the science of Bhakti trough his study of Vedic scriptures.
