Satya Franche has been singing since her childhood in Montreal and graduated with degrees in music from Grant MacEwan in Edmonton ALberta and Berklee College in Boston. She has done numerous recordings as a session vocalist. She was introduced to kirtan in 2002 and began exploring the genre. She lived with Swami Ma Chetan Jyoti in Rishikesh and toured the Northeast and Canada as responder and kartel player on Mataji's last tour. She expects to release her debut kirtan CD "Love is in the Name" featuring Shivananda Sharma very shortly. She is also the organizer of Ma Kirtan and performs with them regularly, highlighting guest leaders. Ram Ram
