Moon Mata (Judith Cook Tucker) is an ethnomusicologist and devotional musician who honors... and takes inspiration from... the heart stream of all mystic traditions. Her personal mantra is "sing, melt, love, serve" and to that end she leads kirtan, the Dances of Universal Peace, and original SatSongs in small gatherings, to dive into the Mystery through song and chant in Hebrew, Arabic, Sanskrit, Tibetan and English. She accompanies herself (and others) on guitar, harmonium, mbira and piano. Based in Danbury, CT, she is also a member of Ma Kirtan and Sita's Light, kirtan groups.
